The Mead

Bears Bluff Meadery - It’s been a long time in the making but we’re so excited to share our newest brand with the world - Bears Bluff Meadery is focused on putting our mark on the world of mead. Arguably the world’s oldest fermented beverage, mead is wine made with a base of honey instead of grapes. We’ve found ourselves experimenting with over 400 different draft mead flavors (think full-bodied seltzer) and if you come out to visit us, we’re sure to have several rotating on tap ; In addition we have delicious bottled meads for you to sample as well.

Fortitude

Our bourbon barrel aged traditional mead is left to ferment in spent bourbon barrels from Firefly Distillery. The smokey flavor of the bourbon barrel is imparted into this delicious honey wine to give it a smooth, warming effect as you work through your glass, a little less ABV, as an alternative for those bourbon lovers out there.

Eden's Temptation

Our purist uses local honey combined with yeast & water & fermented in American oak to give it a slight oak flavor that pairs oh so well with the honey.

Oasis won a Gold medal and third best in show at the 2023 National Honey Board Competition, which is no surprise given that it has notes of mango, passionfruit, guava, papaya & lychee. But the amazing part is the flavor comes from the passionfruit co-fermenting with the hops & honey so all of the other flavor comes from the hops that are used. It's as refreshing as enjoying a sunset in the tropics!

Paradisi

First discovered in the Caribbean, "citrus paradisi" is known by most as grapefruit. However, it's also known by another more mysterious name - the forbidden fruit.
